Who We Are
Garima Kandel Memorial Trust(GKMT) is a non profit and non governmental charity organization established in 2015 (2072 BS) at Kathmandu district administration office and affiliated with social welfare council (SWC) Nepal. GKMT is also registered in Ireland as a charitable organisation.
This Trust Aims:
To raise awareness regarding to the cancer prevention and control in community.
To organise screening health camps for screening cervical pre cancer and early stage breast cancer.
To engage in helping and providing possible support to most needy cancer patients.
To provide support to children of cancer affected family and elderly people in term of health and education.
Vision
Our vision is that no one affected by cancer should have to face the journey without appropriate care and support. No one should be isolated by the illness.
Mission
GKMT strives to provide emotional support, education and counselling to anyone affected by cancer in Nepal. GKMT endeavour to provide emergency financial and practical help who are badly needed.
